Hi ladies
I'm pregnant!!! Yayyyy 💃
But at the same time I'm also curious what i'm going to have! This suspense is killing me! So I was going through some old wife tales and they say that girls are on left and boys are on right. And whenever I sneeze I have got mild pain on my left side! Does that means i'm going to have little girl??
Plz share your experiences!!! Thanks

I've had very little sickness and baby definitely implanted on my right side although unfortunately old wives tales are exactly that.. tales! I don't think there's any truth to them lol..

I have been the same though, I'm desperate to know the sex and have waited until my 20 week scan which is this Friday to hopefully find out!

I think the only way to have a good guess is by the scan and the nub/skull but then that isn't always right either! If you look in the 2nd tri section under gender guess you'll see my scans and I've had 100% boy guesses so far!

xx

There was a massive list of different old wives tales posted on the first tri board a while ago, I answered all the questions and got a roughly 50/50 split for boy/girl.

I did the Chinese gender calendar and it worked for me! When you get your 12 week scan pic post it here and we will have a guess :) I was the same, desperate to know, I couldn't wait until 20 weeks and booked a private 17 weekgender scan :)

If you have a spare £400 you can have the harmony test at 10 weeks that tells you gender! Xx

i had a private scan at 16 weeks i was desperate to know before christmas was our little treat x

The old wives tails mean nothing. Neither do family genes. All the signs pointed to a boy for us, it's a girl!

Aww I remember the suspense!! You just want to know and you want to know it now! :)

I don't believe in Chinese calendars or old wife tales but its so much fun trying them lol. The calendar and bicarbonate of soda test both said girl and I did get my girl.

For baby No 2 I will be tempted to try the Shepard's method for pre-conception gender prediction.

All the best x
