someone please discribe what a show looks like

iv just had about 4 or 5 clumps of white clear jelly stuff come out of me it was very sticky and stringy there were tiny tiny lil red bits in it which is whats makin me think it could be a show. each clump was about the size of a 10p but i always imagined it to be very big like the size of your hand ......

Mine had quite a bit of blood in it but I was in labour at the time. It was jelly like and stringy, and was small clumps so what you describe could be your show

and wat ia a show is it a sign that labour could be soon, sorry with all the qyestions but i never had a show with dior

A show is the plug from your cervix coming away. It can be a sign that labour is imminenet but it can also happen quite a bit before as well. Hopefully its a good sign for you, fingers crossed x

really.. ok im getting scared now after having dior im soooooo scared of the thought of labour... i am getting alot of strong period pains too, im going to go for a hot bath, if it is the real thing il keep un informed as iv got a new pda phone so i got internet where ever i go now ... no getting rid of me now x x

Dopn't worry hun, you'll be ok. Just keep thinking that you could be meeting baby soon. Try to relax hun (I know easier said then done). Keep us up to date with what is happening (((hugs))) xx

Ypu had Dior early didn't you, this could well be baby no 2 making an early appearace too, I'm sooooo excited for you hun, I'll be thinking of you

Thats excatly what i had, only small amounts- in fact it was smaller than 10p and I wentinto labour that day. It can go on for 2 weeks though so try not to panic.

Yup mine was the same too and it happened a few hours before i went into labour!
But as said, it can happen ages before but with your past history fingers crossed!

Epidural all the way........woo hoo for that lovely drug!

Let us know how it goes hun, I had show up to two weeks before hun, if your worried ring your midwife, or ring the labour ward.
