heehee, i buy all her clothes so OH didnt have a choice He keeps saying she looks like a clown when i put them on her, haha I like 'em though so sod him

Im not doing toooooooo bad with her, just battling with her at night times. Trying the whole "bath, bottle, bed" routine and shes sleeping slightly better. I dont mind her getting up in the night, but we wernt even getting an evening together, so she goes up and is in bed by 8 and i manage to watch eastenders before i pass out at about 9pm, lol Whats up with Phoebe? x

she has really bad colic. has been screaming literally all day!! she is awake ALL day too. i'm bloody exhausted, so she must be as well! HV told me to take her to the docs, as we've changed her bottles, milk, tried gripe water, and infacol (which she spat out). Having spoken to a really nice doc on the phone, we ended up getting a real twat when we got there who made me feel like i was wasting his time! His answer... put the infacol in her milk, then come back in a few days if it didn't work. why didn't the bloody HV tell me i could put it in her milk!?!

Anyway, I have no idea if its all working, as I have discovered that taking her out in her buggy all day makes her sleep so thats what we've been doing. Its hard tho cos we live up several flights of stairs, so i have to carry buggy chassis down, then Phoebe in her car seat. Bought another sling yesterday - haven't told OH haha, its arriving in the post tomorrow.

She's wearing a lovely new dress (in up to 1 month) that Nanny bought her from Next today as none of her 0-3 clothes fit! The trousers are an inch too big round her waist, and the dresses hang off her shoulders haha.

Sorry to hear about the colic Beth had it really bad when she was a newborn so i know how rubbish it is

The main problem we've had with Izzie is that she doesnt know how to fall asleep on her own (we just thought she hated her moses basket ) so we've had to leave her crying a few times just to try and get her to nod off. I can't leave her for long though, its too upsetting The other problem is that OH keeps shoving a bottle in her gob everytime she squeeks She not due for a feed but cos she's crying she MUST be hungry (she normally pukes all over him cos he's over fed her so at least thats something )
