My view is that yes the internet is here for fun but it can also be someones support line. That may be taking it too seriously but I for one am not going to judge those who use it like that as I would prefer it if someone needed help that they were able to find it on the internet and not be on their own.

Yes it is just a messageboard and you can switch the PC off and leave it, but a lot of people use message boards for support over differant things.
