As most of you know I have a 9 month old son (who is usually good as gold) and I am also 8 weeks pregnant.

Last night (this is the third night running) my son wakes up at 3am and thinks its morning and wants to play around, if his not doing this his crying uncontrollably... he usually sleeps thru the night perfect! I am soooo tired as it is, I really dont need to be kept awake at night!!

The reason why I am hating myself today is becuase I really shouted at him last night, just lost my temper, ive never shouted at him before, it was awful!!

Aswell as being this tired I keep thinking "if I cant cope with him at the moment, how can I cope with 2??"

Terrible Mummy :( xxxxx

Thank you hunny, that really helps hearing that!

Its just sooo tiring!! My OH helps out as much as he can but when its night time and he has work the next day it just stresses us both out!! I just hope by the time this baby arrives my LO will be a trained Nanny! haha xxxx

Well I'm a little more worried this time as I have never had the two in nappies or any of that stuff before. There's a 3 year gap between my first two then a two year between my 2nd and 3rd, my youngest is 10 month now will be 18 month when baby is due so this is a new one to me lol

dont be silly ur not a bad mummy!! and he wont even remember u shouting today! if he wakes tonight u shud seriously close the door make urself a cuppa sit for five mins then sort him, if he wants nothing and is just crying, let him, turn the monitor down so u know hes ok and just let him cry, it will do him no harm, and it doesnt sound like theres anything u can do anyway so no point stressing urself!! :) xxx

I've warned DH that I might be not physically up to dealing with Ella past 9-10pm as I am just so exhausted at the moment - he went to work an hour late today to get up with her because I was feeling so sick. Luckily she doesn't wake in the night but I am dreading September when I go back to work for 2 days a week as I know I'm going to be knackered on those days and won't feel like tending to a screaming baby before bedtime! Ella is 11 months so we'll have around an 18 month age gap too.

Good point!! Usually I do the whole "leave him for 10 mins go lay him back down without syaing anything then leave it 15 mins next time then 20 the next etc" but its not like I can even nap whilst im waiting for the minutes to pass to check on him! Kiddies are strange... if some1 was telling me 2 sleep, no problem!! Dont ask me twice!! lol xxxx
