So there IS a baby in there...

Had 1st scan today - slightly in disbelief that there is actually a small human growing inside me. How weird!
Everything is measuring fine - has put me at 12+3, and now due 13th June.
Partner saw more than I did - said the little 'un was doing back flips at one point... then she turned the screen for me to see and the baby seemed to jump up and down a couple of times. Made me laugh so much she lost the image.
Ultrasound lady was very nice and explained and pointed things out like legs and arms and toes
Partner was buzzing on the way home and wouldn't stop chattering while I ate a doughnut from the German Christmas market.
I'm sure it's pretty random to guess at the moment, but I hear about this 'skull theory' and such... anybody with educated guesses? x

I dont trust the skull theory after EVERY lady that understood it predicted girl for me but ended up 100% boy :') must have a girly looking boy tehe

However very very girly nub, with a nub that clear you don't even need to look into the skull theory. I'd put my money on a pink one xx

Can anyone explain what you are looking for with scull and nub theories? I am intrigued

I'm not entirely sure, I haven't seen many comparisons, but I think the skull thing is to do with whether it is angular with more forehead (boy) or smoother and rounded (girl) and the nub thing is about the angle of the forming genitalia. I think maybe a boy's sticks out at a greater angle to the spine?
