So so nervous... The wait is killing me

I have my next scan on Wednesday and I'm so scared

Aww is it the first scan? How far along are you?x

No hun. I had a scan 2 weeks ago and I was only measuring 10mm and dates didn't add up going from last af. So got to be re-scanned on Wednesday. I don't wana go through the same as last year

If it makes you feel any better my first scan a couple of weeks ago was the same and on Thursday at the rescan it had grown and got a good heartbeat. I think they scan too early it's good that we get reassurance scans but they aren't much help if you panic even more because it's too early xx

I am in the same position second scan on Thurs after having one 2 weeks ago they just saw a empty sac measuring 4.5mm and dated a week behind! the wait is horrible isn't it? you feel in complete limbo I really regret having such a early scan not reassuring at all. Keep in touch and try to keep busy (easier said than done)

Rhondalou that's fab news hun, congratulations. My dates add up from conception but not from last af, what was shown on your first scan??

Butterfly01 I wish you the best of luck and hope everything goes ok at the next scan, it's such an awful wait. I only had a scan 2 weeks ago as I was having a bit pinky discharge. I so would not recommend it to anyone.

In first scan by last period I was 6+2 but they measured less than 5 weeks. I panicked as my last pregnancy ended in missed miscarriage and at 13 weeks we discovered baby had not developed past 5 weeks. So I thought the same thing had probably happened. 9 days later we had the rescan and they put me at 6+6. That's a bigger growth than the time inbetween which just goes to show how it can change. They haven't officially dated me yet because it's so small and so much can change so we going by last period which puts me at 8+1 xx

Ah right. Thanks for that. They didn't say how far gone I was. Just said it was 10mm, there was a gestational sac and a yolk sac. No fetal pole etc.

I am so nervous for Thursday I have been having terrible sickness the last few days so hoping this is a good sign, but I had sickness with my molar so who knows.

Yeh my scan is 11.45 tomorrow.

I will defo let you know, whatever the outcome. I've been feeling really sick for past couple of weeks but it has eased off now. A few people said that could be a good sign feeling sick. But in my opinion I think it's down to worry.
