I'm a new mother to-be! With this not being planned it took a little time to come to terms with. 10 weeks later.. Me and my partner could not be happier. As happy as I am, is it normal to feel so scared? I don't want make myself paranoid or anything, just now we are so happy I don't want anything to go wrong! (If that makes sense)

As hard as it is to keep it in at the min, we are waiting till the 12 week scan, that we finally have a date for! I can not wait to see baby Lloyd for the 1st time! Even though I am so scared incase it comes to scan day and something is wrong! I'm trying so hard to think positive!

I'm having all the horrible symptoms too! I wouldn't wish them on any one, sick sleep and cry is all I do! I seem to have found this new emotion with anything to do with other mothers!

Please some one tell me I'm not crazy! :-)

Definitely not crazy!! Ha, everyone goes through the same thing, I'm sure :)
Wouldn't worry about being paranoid, I'm constantly paranoid, think it just comes with being pregnant haha I won't stop worrying until baby is here!! Think it's because it's also my first.

hi there no youre definately not alone there!

im a first time mom to be too and although i am incredibly happy im pregnant i am also getting paranoid that everything is alright with the baby, i have my first midwife appointment on tuesday and i cannot wait to hear all is ok with him or her, an hoping to hear the heartbeat too so know is all ok, i look up every cramp or pain that i have to ensure its nothing serious, and cannot wait for the 12 week scan so we can see him or her for the first time and check alls ok.

i thought i was crazy too but reading alot of posts on here alot of moms to be have the same worries and feelings! think its just the maternal side coming out in us xxxx

Hi

Congratulations! I'm new too and say it's pretty normal! I'm quite relaxed, which has surprised me but I'm sure that will change when I go to the clinic in a couple of weeks!
