So excited - 5 month scan!

Ahhhh ladies, I can't wait!

I have my 5 month's scan tomorrow at 8.30am (6.30am UK time), mind you I am 21 and a half weeks pregnant but never mind!

I can't wait to see Junior again but I am slightly worried that my recent abcsess and anit-biotics (amoxicillin) may have affect him, Gyn says everything will be ok though!

I'll try and scan the picture in as soon as I can, to let you all see my little boy!

Had my 5 month scan, something that should have taken around 20 minutes took all in total, nearly 3 hours! Junior kept switching positions, when he did, the doctor kept slapping my tummy with the plastic scan thing to make him change sides again. So I had to go wait 20 odd mins and try again. Every time the doctor was about to measure or examine the baby, he kept bl**dy moving!

So, not only did I have a normal scan, I had the delight of a lovely internal exam too. Not everything was checked, the doctor says he couldn’t see the kidneys or cord vessels, so I have to go back on Monday, this is due to my lovely Angel not laying still!

The pictures are rubbish, you can hardly see a thing, look;

They are bad because he wouldn't stay still! 3 frigging hours I was being examined for and waiting!

See, at the start I saw everything at the scan, his little eyes, nose, mouth, sucking his thumb. He kept turning his head towards the camera, staring for a few seconds then shying away, he did this about 8 times and it was so cute. But when it came to the doctor taking the scan photos, we had nothing! Can't make out much at all on any of the photos!

So, yes, having another scan on Monday, the doctor needs to check his kidneys and cord vessels, it was too hard for him to see these yesterday and I didn't fancy sitting in the hospital another 2 or 3 hours to find out lol
