this week as been the hardest week since having my little boy i have never cried so much and been so emotional ever!! but its so hard to see your baby suffer were having no sleep, baby has been in pain we have been to docs, emergency out of hrs and all we can do is wait for the results to find out whats causing the bowel problems but i just feel so down all the time and just wish we could sort it all now but i know we have to wait, i dont expect much support as its not really been offered before when i posted about it but still feel the need to share how i feel, but also wanna thank bellariven for being there for me like i will be there for her i truly found a good bump buddy and glad we are still supporting each other now our little ones are here :)

i just want my little man sorted now xxxx

 have they any idea at all what's causing it? Post pregnancy hormones last a long time hun and they don't help. I cried so much in the first 6 weeks or so I was in danger of flooding the house xxxxxxxx

:hugs: it is horrible when you cant do anything for them, i have nothing useful to say except i hope he gets better very soon  xx

aww yeah i cried at the slightest thing let alone when anything was wrong. i hope they figure it out soon hun x

That sounds hard honey, I hope they do support you and they can figure out what is wrong with your little man. Don't think that we are not here for you, we are all here to help an support each other, I think sometimes threads just get missed, I've had threads where not many people have written back and then others where it's been a really busy thread. It's not personal at all :) we are all here to help :) xxx

they just said all the cryinis because his bowels are being over stimulated by al his bowel movements and causing him pain the first thing they have to look at is an intolerence to his milk! they dont think he has an allergy to dairy as he is gaining weight and not throwing his feeds up, they are saying its likely it could be lactose as this causes diarea and bloating and stomach cramps but are unsure until the the results come back :( x

Is he formula fed? Our gp is pretty certain Albert's inherited my lactose intolerance and since I switched to soya he has totally thrived. The gp said it's not worth messing about with the tests cos I would have to put him on cows milk formula again and it wouldn't be fair cos he is doing so well. We've been referred for non-dairy weaning with a plan to reintroduce it at 1 year to see how he goes. I'm surprised they are just leaving him to suffer til the results are through, have you asked about the prescription milk or soya?

It is totally my pleasure honey and I want to thank you too.

I completely and utterly understand how you are feeling right now, it is so hard seeing your LO in pain all the time and it cuts like a knife every time they scream because you can't do anything, I think I have probably done as much crying as you this week.

MASSIVE huge hugs to you, and stay strong honey xxxxxx

:hugs: i hope they figure out what is wrong with your lo!
