I have just started using clear blue digital ovulation tests and got my first smiley face yesterday day 13 about 10 am we DTD straight away. Tested again today and no smiley face? what does that mean? have I already ovulated is it too late to DTD again and be successful? Going to DTD once hubby gets in but confuses me I thought I would get 2 smilies meaning I would get a good couple of days to get to it lol? so what one day n thats it? had been testing every day at same time. We hadn't DTD for 3 days prior to yesterday when I got smiley face.

im noe expert and this question has been asked many times but no smily face means there is no surge but if you have ovulated as in your egg has been released that does not mean you still cant catch it!! your newly released egg is now viable for 24 to 48 hours only so get to bed haha x

Some people get one day of positives, some get 2 and I have even read some people getting 3. I dont think there is a definative answer of whether you ovulate once it goes negative, it just means the surge leading up to it is over. I would say consider yourself as ovulating today. Just BD as soon as you can and you could be covered for today. the egg lives for 12-24 hours max so it isnt a big time frame but you BD'd yesterday so hopefully there were some of the little fellas waiting for that egg good luck hun x
