When Charlie was born we used the standard C&G Premium but he always suffered with stomach ache and was very unsettled so we started using colief in his bottles which did the trick but we wanted something more stable so we changed his milk to Comfort which was fantastic.
However Charlie has been diagnosed with reflux and has the SMA Staydown now on prescription (which saves us some money as well) but were finding in the late afternoon that he becomes grumbly and wingey so thought back and realised that he seems to have the colic symptoms (although not as bad) and wondered if anyone had ever used Colief with the staydown milk? Am also considering the Infacol again as I wonder if its trapped wind as well but I know the Infacol takes about a week to get into their system so thought I would try the Colief first which I am hoping the doctor with prescibe as before.
My only concern is that with the normal milk the colief had to be added to warm milk (room temperature) 4 hours before feeding and kept in the fridge but with staydown it is prepared with refridgerated water although I did notice on the instructions that if using carton milk which is already room temperature to add an extra 2 drops of colief and leave for 1/2 hours then feed which would probably be the best option for us.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
