SMA follow on milk recall (and gold cartons)

Thought I'd let you know this, in my local Morrisons store there is a sign up with a recall of some SMA Follow on Milk 900g tins..

Batch: Q8E103R26
Best before: 09/10/09

and

Batch: Q8E113R26
Best before: 10/10/09

I would assume this was a national thing and not just related to my local area and/or Morrisons stores.

Anyhow best to be safe than sorry so if you use SMA Follow On you might wanna check your tins. I don't use it but I just copied the codes in case it helps you guys x

no worries, glad you found out about it x

think you just call SMA and they'll send you a new one.. our morrisons said to bring back with a receipt but who really keeps receipts for formula

Noooo, they won't. I had one of the 1 litre cartons that got recalled (cost about £1.50 ish). They sent me two full cans of powder to make up for it (nearly 14 quids worth). It'll last us ages because we only use formula to top up.

It's worth doing - they will just ask you for the batch numbers and time codes off the packaging. Oh and they won't ask for it back, they just ask you to dispose of it.
