So I am 14 weeks tomorrow and coming down the stairs this morning my sock slipped and I fell straight on my bum and down 2 steps and managed to stop. My bum is sore and I got a few vey slight twinges about an hr after it happened but then nothing since and I have checked twice no blood, do I need to be worried or will it be ok as it wasnt my stomach?

I think you'll be ok. I rather stupidly went down a slide with my toddler at about 25 weeks and bumped off the end of the slide and banged my coccyx. It was so sore that I couldn't sit properly for weeks after. I rang triage and they said baby is well protected in there and I didn't need to be checked over. Obviously if you get any pain or bleeding then ring xx

I'm gonna say you'll be ok. But get checked out if you feel you need too. I fell down the stairs when I was 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I was holding my 2nd boy at the time. ..same thing as you, slipped on my socks went down on my bum. I was a bit achy for a while but all was fine. I did have low lying placenta when I went for my 12 week scan..but it moved by the time I gave birth thankfully. It did make me wonder tho if that occurred because of the fall.

I'm sure you'll be fine hun, but call your MW if you're worried at all.

I had a fall with this pregnancy- can't remember how far along I was but I was deffo over 20 weeks. I fell running the dog at agility but thankfully went down on my hands and knees so no impact on my bump at all. It frightened me a lot but luckily she gave me a few kicks straight after which was reassuring.
