what age did your LO sleep through the night? Jacob has a feed at midnight then another around 4am then 7 to 8am....

x

sounds right to me .... Ellis has a dream feed at 10.30pm and then he will go till 4ish then 7.

My friends baby is 13 weeks and she was sleeping through at 10 weeks, but i think she is just a lucky girl!! hehe xxx

wow keely ellis is already 2 months... doesn't time fly... is he a good baby? i'm glad i found the time to log on here... i think before i was expecting too much from jacob... comparing him to my friends baby who is older.

Ella started sleeping from 10.30-8 when she was about 8 weeks old. She did go through a stage of waking up at 4am for a feed, but then stopped again. Guess we've been lucky :)

About 3 or 4 months, then started waking again when he got teeth a couple of weeks ago

Hayley,
Joe is waking every 3 hours roughly but at the same age his sister was sleeping and only waking once during the night. Her eating habits were different though, she would take 6oz every 4 hours and was a creature of routine and habit whereas Joe is a law unto himself.

Hope you are okay

olivia started sleeping 8 hours at night last week when i changed he to the 2nd stage milk!

She has a feed between 9 and 10.30, is she doesn't wake by this time i dream feed her and she wakes between 5 and 6.30 depending on whta time she was fed!

olivia was the same as jacob at his age

Rubie woke once or twice in the night til 3 months then she has slept through every single night since :)

tia and jordan (my youngest 2) were sleeping through from 6 week and only woke up every now and again for a feed
my oldest didnt sleep through till she was 6 months

Charlie used to wake exactly every 4 hours for a feed until he was 6 weeks old and we changed his milk to C&G Comfort and the first night he attempted to sleep through I thought there was something wrong and woke him at 4am to feed him :wall:  ...we realised the next night he didnt need to feed anyway and started to sleep from 9.30 until 6am.
Seems to have gone through a phase the past few weeks of waking at 3.30am for a play and his dummy but seems to be settling down again to about 7ish....

Ewan is almost 13 months and still wakes at night!!
But all he requires is a drink of milk and he goes straight back off to sleep, only wakes once though.

One girl on her said her 3 yr old still woke dirung the night!

8 weeks for Elliott, but then he started waking earlier again when it got to weaning then about a month into that, once he was on three meals a day he started going through from 7pm-6.30am. All was great then until teething- he got 6 teeth in 2 months! After that he and I got used to me going in to reassure him after every peep all through the night- sometime 8 times a night! Aargh! Have hopefully got him back now into going down at 7 and waking about 6 but kind of singing/playing in his cot! It's a bit of a constant thing really! Reading all those books before I had him I thought that once he "had it" that was it but now I realise it's an ongoing, (cough!), challenge! There are lots of good hints and tips though- Elizabeth Pantley's No Cry Sleep Solution is good.

Yeah most of the time she is!! She's a good girl :D

I have quite reliably been feeding Elena at 11:30, and then any time between 3:30 and 4:30 depending on when she wakes, then again at 7:30am until last night. Normally I wake her for her 11:30 feed. Last night she woke me at 10:50, then again at 2:20am and then again at 6:30am, I then feed her again at 7:30 to try and get the day off to a good start. She turned 6 weeks yesterday. Do they go through a growth spurt at the 6week mark?

However my main question is - from what I am noticing people whose LO's sleep through at a relatively young age all seem to be bottle not breast fed. I am BF does this mean it is likely to be later before she starts sleeping through?

alex was breast fed and slept through on & off from eight weeks (was going at least 5/6 hours anyway) then solidly from 10 weeks.

Brody only started sleeping through last week.

Hi Nicky

Recently Olivia has been sleeping terribly, I'm not sure why this is but perhaps also due to teething. However when I have said before on here that she hasn't slept through the night I think I have been setting targets too high! Since she was about 10/11 wks old she went to bed between 7-9pm and would sleep for 7 hours or so, which in baby land is really sleeping through (I think they say a stretch of sleep of 6 or more hours is sleeping through). It's just she wasn't sleeping on my bed times (11pm-6am!). Olivia is breastfed.

I think every baby is different and certainly I think you will notice a difference once she has been through this growth spurt. I noticed Olivia fed a lot from 5-7 wks during the day and night but then settled down a bit.

Lucy
