My little girl is 7 weeks old this week, how much should be sleeping now??
She seems to be sleeping an awful lot. Is this normal

i think they sleep for up to 18 hours per day, Did you get the birth to 5 book from your hospital?? it should say in there

Caitlyn sleeps alot also, only waking for a feed and prob stays awake a max of 30 mins after feed

Hi

My little one is 7 weeks and she sleeps about 8-9 hours at night :cheer:
And in the day she has a few little naps usually ranging from 30mins to 2 hours each.

Remember each baby is different hun some require more sleep than others, if she is having a growth spurt they sleep alot also.

As long as she is happy and feeding well (plenty of wet nappies) then i wouldnt worry too much.

Mention it to your health visitor if it still concerns you hun

No i didnt get a birth to five book, will ask for one of those though.
Well she is taking her feeds but not like normal, she could go 6 hours without a feed, and other times only wants 2 ozs. But shes having plrenty of wet nappies, just not dirty ones

Dont worry too much about dirty nappies hun, just as long as she is having wet ones. My little one goes the full night without waking for a feed, i am sure your bab would let you know if hungry.
Are you seein your health visitor soon, just mention it to her see what she says hun
