OH offered to sleep in the spare room last night to give me a chance to get a decent nights sleep, bless him. I had such a good sleep... until...............

I went to the loo at about 3 am, when i went back to bed OH was snuggled up fast asleep back in our bed, made me laugh so much :rotfl: :rotfl:

might talk him onto staying the whole night in the spare room tonight

Men eh? Full of good intentions that they just cannot keep to :rotfl:

Saying that, I haven't had the problem of sharing a bed with a man for quite a while now and I have to say it is complete and utter, BLISS! :D

I can stretch out, swap sides when I get too warm - hell I can even snore without getting moaned at! :rotfl:

aw bless him! its the thought that counts!

Hi

Oh hun that made me smile :D i think its so cute he jumped back in to bed.
Katrina

bless him..... my DH has got the bedding out for the sofa bed but has not quite made it through there yet, despite me keeping him awake for a few hours every night with my indegestion and back ache!

He was away last week for a couple of nights and I have to say it was bliss having the bed to myself. I usually cannot sleep when he is not there but I got the best 2 nights sleep I have had for months! I haven[t got the heart to tell him to go next door....

Some nights i have to get on the sofa, no choice! the DH snores like you wouldnt believe!
So i take to the sofa with my duvet, but at least i get peace and quiet and the sofa is massive and dead comfy! :D

Ah that's lovely tangerinedream. I'm the one that makes all the noise when I get too loud generally get moved into the spare room. DH is up before me in the morning so needs the alarm clock - but I'm not complaining cos he always brings me up a cup of tea before he goes to work.

That's funny!! Close your door, use the ensuite loo and he won't hear you toddling of to the bathoom and thus no cue to sneek back into the comfortable bed. Don't think I'd get DH into the spare room we'd hate being away from one another and I don't think I'd get any better nights sleep from it anyway...mind you were not squashed up in a double.

Perhaps I should send for link to this thread to my OH. I always sleep so well when he's got up for work. :) It's nice to have the bed to myself once in a while.

I read in a book somewhere that women getting up constantly in the night for a pee that isn't worth going to do in the first place (i.e. your bursting to go and end up doing nothing more than a dribble) should "create" their own ensuite by putting a bucket or something under the bed.....that was kinda like a "gross" suggestion when I first read it but now the constant peeing thing is starting again I think if I didn't have a loo close to me its exactly what I'd be doing!!!

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww................... :puke:

You only need a bucket when you are camping dont you??

I know I thought it was gross too....the other suggestion was buying those thick paper things you can use in bed. Really didn't like that idea either.....oh and camping + me don't work.....DH wanted a caravan last year - I agreed but only if it had everything on board, full bathroom, static bedroom, even a microwave and dishwasher....hehe camping + buckets = no way :puke:

why is this book making wiered suggestions? i really dont have a problem going to the loo at night... you have to wake up no matter what you are peeing in! the loo in my house is sandwiched between both bedrooms, like i said- my house is very small :D

I don't know really, I think it was just trying to make things easier?? I have no idea really, I'd rather go to the loo at least that way I can get all comfortable in bed again afterwards. I mean if your awake your awake what difference does a toddle to the bathroom make as oppossed to getting up and squatting over a bucket :rotfl:
