with sperm donnors on the birth certificate,
have u ever taken ur child out of the EU without the fathers permission?
i wanna go out of the EU next yr on hol but wanted to know other peoples opinions of there sperm donnors actions for it
does ne of this make sence

i havent taken keeley out of england yet... but i think unless you and braydon's sperm donor have signed a parental reponseabilty (sp) order... i don't think he has a say in it

Hope that helps and makes sense

I am totaly sure that you can. You bring up your child, not the father... so he doesnt really get a say. Unless he takes you to court, I very much doubt he would hun xx

You can take him without permission, think about all the people who use sperm donations for fertility treatments or because they are same sex couples etc. People who donate sperm sign away their rights to the outcome of that donation when they fill in the registration paperwork.

hun i work in matrimonial family law and (think  ) that unless the father has parental responsibility then you can do what you want without asking permission, i think he only gets parental responsibility if you were married when B was born or if you signed to say he could have parental responibility.

 feeling idiotic now...I didn't know that!! Sorry!!
I know my brother and I took holidays to France with my Mum many years ago, she didn't ask my father's permission as he was never around nor was he interested to be honest. Laws might have changed but I think as a holiday (rather than moving abroad type thing) you will be fine without asking, chances are he won't even know you have been anywhere and if it's within the EU you are free to move about anyway so I'd not worry about a holiday to Spain or where ever if I were you. Just go and enjoy yourself.

did you know the father cant even get the baby a passport if the parents are not married!! only the mother can apply!

Take him away sarah, what the hell is he going to do about it!! hehe xxxx
