Just after some advice please ladies. My dd had reflux from around 2 weeks old with sick after every feed and being really unsettled and refusing feeds. Ashton is starting to show similar symptoms to how she started and I'm wondering what you think or am I just being paranoid?
He is really unsettled straight after his first feed. Crying on and off and not sleeping for more than a few minutes. He will suck a dummy for a little while but always want more milk. It's to the point one feed rolls into another so I'm constantly feeding him but nothing else will settle him. He hiccups and coughs a fair bit and also grunts and groans after feeds in the night although to be fair he generally sleeps fairly well at night. There's been a few times it's taken a couple of hours to settle him but generally is ok. He has been sick a handful of times but not too much has one back up. Sometimes I think it's because he's just had far too much over a long period. I'm wondering if he's feeding to soothe pain.
Any advice from anyone who's had similar problems would be good. I just can't get into any sort of feeding pattern with him or get him to sleep in the day!!! The only time is in the car when we go out and even then if we stop the car he cries!!! It's slowly driving me mad!! Xx
