sickness bug..plz help

poor Louie has caught a sickness bug Josh was sick wed night & then again thurs morning & is now fine.
i hoped Louie wouldn'r get it but he has

what can i give him to eat? i think he is hubget but other than rich tea biccies what else?

Poor Louie

Olivia had this for 5 days, everthing she ate either came out of the top or bottom.

I took her to the docs after 3 days as i was getting worried, he just gave me that dyralite (sp) and told me not to give her anything apart from that untill it had stopped! She wouldn't drink it tho and she was starvin bless her! So we just gave her things like toast and watered down milk!

I think there is a lot of it going around, DH has had it then i got it after Olivia!

Jude had a nasty bug a few weeks back, he was so bad the GP sent us to hospital with him. He was put under observation, and the doctor said it was often the amount of food/milk given that made babies throw up rather than the milk itself. So they advised us to feed him a few oz frequently. Perhaps that is worth a try? Worked for Jude.

aww thanks for the replyies girls.
well i managed to do what you all said & just give him dry toast & biccies & water all day long.
poor boy, he seems ok now, think the bug goes as quickly as it comes (hopefully)

he hasn't had any diarrohea either, just sick at 11.40 last night & thats it, so do you reckon i could give him milk in the morning tomorrow? hes going to be starving

oh my god, how strange all the babies have got this bug.

Ellis started to throw up yesterday afternoon but I only gave him water after he threw up his dinner and the sickness stop but 11pm.... he is not right today and not really eating but not being sick, fingers crossed!!!

Hope all the other babies get better soon!

Oh my advise was.....no food, starve the bug! I read no food in my birth to five book just fluids (clear fluid not milk) unless child is requesting food.
