Hi Girls,

wonder if any of you can offer some advice. My baby girl is almost a year and a half old and is a healthy and happy little toddler. She had been a little off colour the last couple of days as I think her big back teeth are coming through.

We had lunch as usual at 12ish and she went down for her lunchtime nap at 12.45. I went to wake her up with a bottle at 2.45 as I normally do and was horrified to find her face, hair and cot covered in sick. It was really thick and gloopy.

The worrying thing is she has never been sick like this before and why didn't she cry or make a noise? I still use the camera monitor and I didn't even see it happen! I feel awful.

Is this common? Does this happen all the time? I'm so scared as could she have choked on her own vomit???

if she is ill hun then its perfectly normal for them to do it whilst asleep, she probably woke did it then felt so tired she went bk to sleep without you even noticing. at that age they havent developed the sense of sick being gross and scary yet that us adults have so she would have just gone bk to sleep because being sick made her feel better. my nephew was sick in his sleep the othe rweek and he is same age and his mum didnt know until he woke up in the morning and was covered because he never made any noise or up.

Cameron still does this. He must just wake up throw up and fall back asleep.
He is usaually ill when this happens and just falls back asleep.
I know nothing about it until the morning when he gets up and tells me.
Usually he his hair bed , bedroom walls and carpet are covered to.
