Shuddery baby movements

Hey ladies,

I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this at all.
In the last few weeks of pregnancy maybe once a week (and a few times last night and this morning) baby has made a funny movement.
It's like a quick shuddery quivery movement. I can liken it to a rabbit banging it's foot on the floor or a dog when it scratches super fast.
It's most definitely not hiccups!

I've been googling and it seems to be a common occurrence with no real reason.

I just wondered if anyone had experienced the same thing?x

I get this quite often, and usually low down. No idea what he's doing in there, just amusing himself I assume.

Every now and then he'll have a mad moment where my whole bump jumps up and down too and then he stops haha. It's so funny to watch, even funnier to watch OH's reaction!

I've had it a few times and I wonder if it's just babys startle reflex? It almost seems mine is being jolted from being asleep lol. Xx
