Yvonne, it can happen anywhere. When I first when out in Manchester there was a shooting in the city centre-this was 2 years ago. At that point in time there wasn't such a big gun culture up here...there is now tho!!

I love Deansgate Locks-bumped into Tina O'Brien (sarah Louise platt fromCorrie) my god how egotistical is she!arrogant, self absorbed, loves herself to bits.... Refused my OH a picture or autograph......

This is where I live and it has taken up so many pages of the local news!!!! What a waste of tim to report on something as ridiculous as this. And it wasn't in Dover, it was in my local park in Deal where the bloke is from and there are always hundreds of kids in the skate park thats there who say so much worse! He's a youth worker too so wouldn't setting a good example if he was giving verbal abuse to a police officer.

Fair enough, some people don't like hearing swearing but fining them is just ridiculous and a waste of valuable police time. They are a lot like that around here though and concentrate on pointless crimes and not the ones where it would make a difference.

On another note I know its not linked but I think that its so stupid that your not aloud to sing 'baa baa black sheep' anymore!
The world has gone totaly crazy!

at our rhyme time group we can sing it but have to sing baa baa white sheep straight after it. If the girl who runs us tell as we are singing bbbsheep she has to say bbwsheep in the same sentance.

Its nuts, the words to bbwsheep dont even make sense.

God its annoying isn't it. Yet (on the risk of sounding racist-which i'm defo not) if the song was baa baa white sheep to begin with there would be no problem i bet. It's the anti-racism people that get too carried away i think.

And changing nursery rhymes and fairy tales such as hansel and gretal to protect our children from upset etc is a joke when children nowadays are rougher than the wolf that bit little red riding hoods heard off!!!
