Found out yesterday we are having a girl and now can't decide what to do with the name.

We chose Connie if it was a girl right at the beginning but still can't decide if it should officially be Constance and then shorten it to Connie or just stick with Connie as the official name.

That sounds nice hun as long as people know that what u want, my daughter is Hananh and i hate people shortening it, i go mad but we thought of having a name u could shorten before and as long as thats understood then thats good

I also like Consuela but hubby won't have it because of Phoebe from friends (Princess Consuela Bananahammock) .

I suppose it's going to end being shortened to Con anyway .

We watched Rachel give birth last night. Hope I look that good when my time comes.

Hi, im a reception teacher and just be aware that when she goes to school it has to be the full name on trays, lockers, pegs, ceryificates etc. Its a policy for our area that the name on the birth certificate is the name that we use. However, i call them by their prefered name but put full names on things.

With my last pregnancy i liked gracie and lots told me to call her grace but it was for this reason that i wouldnt have. (if id used it!)

Woohoo! You stole my name! :rotfl:

We're going for Constance Jane Wilkinson, but will call her Connie most of the time. In fact we already call her Connie all the time!

Good choice of name hun

Must be a good name then :D

Always liked that name, it was the name of my mum's horse years ago

Also have Cleo in the back of my mind but not totally sure about that one. We've now said we are going to wait until she is born to make up our minds.
