Well, as you all know, I'm planning to call my baby daughter Constance (Connie) for three reasons:

1) It was Jim's grandmother's name and he was very close to her.
2) I really like the name and haven't taught any hideous kids with it.
3) If I wanted a personality trait for my daughter, constance would be high on the agenda as I'm all over the place :rotfl:

ANYWAY when I was mini we lived next door to a couple called Connie and Clive who were old even back then. Because my dad was a waste of space, Connie used to help my mum out loads with housework and looking after me and Matthew and so on...

My mum continued to write to Connie after we moved away in 1983, but the correspondence stopped after my mum died in 2001. My stepdad recently found Connie's address and wrote her an update of what we'd all been up to...

THAT Connie is still alive and turns 100 on my due date
