she sleeps all the time ??

im a little worried because my little baby girl molly is just over a week old she sleeps all the time my other two were not as quiet a her she hardly cries, and is only awake for 20 minutes at most a day but she feeds well shes put on some weight allready.
ive spoken to the midwife about it but she assures me shes just a good baby, but i find myself waking her up i want to spend some time with her anyone else have this problem??

yeah like Sarah says, this is very normal for some babies, I would get some rest, she will start to perk up in a week or so, so make the most of it!

Alex was the same for 4 weeks. We thought we'd got lucky and he'd stay like that - how wrong we were Like the others have said, get some rest, she might make up for it later.

thankx i feel better im sure she will make up for it later, my other two werent as quiet, i was just worried if it ment she was weak because my mum lost a baby to cot death at 7 days old, im a bit of an over worrier.
