So am laid on sofa because Keira has decided that she likes sleeping in her bouncy chair more then her carry cot.

Any ideas how I can get her up in her bed?x

Persevere!! Last night F wasn't feeling well and would only sleep on me or next to me. Back to square 1 tonight. I'm cuddling him to sleep the n putting him into his basket to get him back in it. Good luck xx

Wait at least 10 mins until her fists unclench and she's floppy then she's in a deep sleep. You should be able to move her then

Xc

Albert went through this at her age. In the end I would put his bouncer in our room and once he was floppy like Torino says I would put him in the basket

We let Tyler do it for a few weeks just to get a break, we have managed to get him into sleeping on my bed (we cosleep) and he's started naturally self settling this week!

If you need a break take it! You've got months to get her to sleep in other places.

Emily wouldn't sleep in her Moses basket unless we put her in it asleep for quite some time. I think it was because she couldn't see out the sides and felt boxed in. I think in the early days you have to do what you have to do - remember you need to sleep too! Xx

thanks ladies, its just unsettling as after her 3-4am feed she settles in it straight away its just that initial going to bed. x

is the sheet in it cold? try putting a hot water bottle in it for a bit or a cardi or jumper you have been wearing so its warm and snuggly and smells like you. often the temp change wakes them up when your moving them from one place to another

never thought of this, could also be the light in the hallway i guess waking her.. God i got all this again when i get home as at mums at moment x
