seeing the consultant

I have to see the consultant later on today (i am overweight) does anyone know what i should expect from the meeting.
I didn't have to see one with my last 2 pregnancy's

Hi

I had an appointment with a consultant about 3 weeks ago and it was because I'm overweight and had problems with my last delivery.

I was really disappointed with my appointment it only lasted 5 minutes, all his said about my weight is I might need an extra scan to check the babies growth and I have to have an appointment with someone else to check and see if I can have an epidural because of my weight.

Hopefully your appointment will be better than mine and you get some practical advise!

i will do.

i know that i'm getting scans at 12, 20, 22, 28, 32, and 36 weeks. i hope i get more than 5 mins as it'll take me about an hour to travel to the hospital.
