Second Birthday Ideas

Hello, I'm new to the forum (been reading as a guest till now) so thought I'd just jump right in and start to get to know you other mummies on here.

Wondering what you all done (or are doing) for your LO's 2nd birthday, we done a whole party thing for the 1st birthday & a trip to the zoo so would like something a bit different this year since I don't fancy a house full of 2 year olds eating ice creams!!

Also what pressies did you buy LO for 2nd birthday?

Welcome to the forum

IIRC for his 2nd BD we got DS an easel and lots of craft suff and asked everyone else to do the same. That was a brilliant gift idea as he got loads of things and everyone loved buying stuff (Early learning, the works and pound shops are great for that) and saving things like bottle tops, loo rolls and old interesting cartons. He spent hours doing little modles and pictures and still has stuff now, he is 9 in a couple of weeks

Trips to the zoo are always winners, conkers, the think tank and eureka are fab places for kids too
