Im hoping this is pregnancy related as if not hubby is going to divorce me  I scratch my bump, legs and arms all night. Im using the same washing powder so its not that. Feel silly asking the midwife incase its nothing to do with pregnancy and she does this :rotfl: when i leave the room!

Don't feel like you can't ask questions or talk about things with your MW! Believe me I've said some daft things such as 'what do you do with that thing?!' when the doctor pulled out the speculum a couple of months ago! It was my first ever internal exam though!

The itching could be down to a small reaction but it could also be something your midwife needs to know about. I had a rash on my legs about week 26 and I had to get prescribed a cream which helped a lot!

Here is some info on itching. They have some suggestions for relief too, hope it helps

There is a warning of obstetric cholestasis for excessive itching, may be worth checking out the other symptoms for that, just to be on the safe side and rule it out :D

Thanks ladies, turns out it wasnt a stupid question to ask midwife today as she took my bloods and sent me to hospital where i have been for the past 4 hours! They were checking my liver. It came back fine but i have to go back either tonight or tomorrow for a scan to measure baby as im measuring small. :? Waiting for them to ring.

Just shows that you should mention anything that bothers you ey!

Glad your liver is good :cheer:

I'm sure your bubs is fine :D Good luck with your scan :)
