i know its very early to be thinking about this but we visited out local primary school to vote on thursday and i absolutely fell in love with it. it is a small school, a really old building with loads of character. the displays on the wall were excellent (dont remember my primary being that good). the only problem with the school is that the school playground is right on a dual carrageway so the kids are obviously exposed to a lot of car exhaust fumes. the ofstead report is ok, a lot better than the other local primary, which doesnt seem to do as well.
now im torn between a lovely school and a dodgy playground. anyway, its going to be a while before LO starts school.
anybody else send their kids to a school on a busy road? does it effect their health?
