Scan Pics

I had my 12 week scan yesterday and have put some photos online at www.toniandandy.co.uk if anyone wants to see what they can expect.... it is really really exciting. A friend of mine told me that they kept the screen pointed away from her until they took all the measurements but no in Leicester - we saw the screen all the time. We could see the heart beating and a full little bladder and if you look in one of the photos you can see 5 little fingers. It was pretty amazing - although I had the feeling that they have a bank of photos on the computer and just pulled one of those up as I couldn't believe that the baby was so easy to see! They dated me at 12 +2 days which isn't too far off what I thought. So I guess I'm off to 2nd tri at the end of the week. We told everyone last night so it's all pretty exciting!

Oh Wow! Those are so clear! I don't know if I have ever seen such a clear 12 week scan! Amazing. Congratulations!

Does it tell you on your scan pics what machine they used to scan you? (should do) Looks like it was a top notch one I have to say! The clearer the scan picture, the better the scanner. The ones here at Peterborough Maternity unit are quite old now. I'm looking forward to having our private one next month to see if it's any better
