Scan and drinking fizzy drink?

I've got my 20week scan on tuesday (sooo excited)

and obveously its clear not to drink fizzy drinks before scan?

but why? i'm just curious, as some people say to, to get bubs wrigglin..

I drank a whole bottle of asda's version of red bull before my scan, i wanted baby to be moving around a lot so we'd have more chance of finding the sex, as it happens she slept the whole wat through and was very well behaved (apartt from keeping her legs closed lol)

hehe i'll try that one, my friend did it, and she had to be re-scanned as bubs moved around so much, she couldnt understand why, maybe because she loves her coca-cola hehe.. xx

I had a bottle of coke and a mars about 20 mins before scan and bambino was moving around like crazy lol!!!
But saying that they managed to get most the measurements done but i do have to go back on the 25th so she can measure the spine as bambino was on her back the whole time!!

Heheee didn't need to drink anything to get Pip wiggleing and being awkward at ours I think she feels a rush of cold or something when I drink water and bubbles if I drink fizzy.....I'm going to get some of those popping candy things to see what she does with that!! Yah know those little yellow sparky stuff that you eat and it pops in your mouth heheee!
