Safe to eat smoked salmon?

It's my second year wedding anniversary on Tuesday and hubby and I are planning on going back to the place we got married (Celtic Manor) for dinner, bed and breakfast.

I know there are certain things we are to avoid eating during pregnancy to prevent food poisoning etc, so is it safe to eat smoked salmon? I mean it's uncooked fish... so is that a risk? Please help cos I would really want to eat it next week if I can!!!! Confused.com!!!
