Have to agree with you ladies...people that do such wicked things ought to experience suffering in return!!!!

the trouble is that now he is dead he will made a martyr - thats the worrying thing about it all. :?

To be perfectly honest the whole spectecle sickened me. The fact that there were pictures of it as well :puke: . I just think in a civilised society there is no room for any killing, no matter who does it. He should have been locked up for life, thast would have been more punishment for him, he hated the fact that he was locked up and had lost his status.

Yeah but locked up where members of the public were allowed in to hurt him one at a time too. Tied up like Hannbal Lecter so he couldn't do anything back.

Don't believe in toture either. Makes us as bad as them I think.

I absoloutely do, sorry Beanie hun everyones got their opinion and yours is right to you, all i know is if he did to anyone i loved what he did to millions of ppl id have no mercy at all i would rip him to pieces and id take my time doing it, maybe it makes me as bad as him but I feel justice has been served

Toe torture does toture mean? Good idea too, lol.

Argh I hate that man with a passion. He is now no longer suffering, not fair.

and I would feel the same but that is why we have a justice system. two wrongs never make a right.

I have to agree beanie. There was just something not right about the whole situation, as if we are sinking to his level. An eye for eye will make the whole world blind. There has to be some truth in that.
He was also obsessed with his place in history and in particular with predictions from nostradamus (shows how nuts he was!) but as budge as already said, this just makes him a martyr.

In our society today though Beanie the Justice system stinks, please tell me the justice in a man whose raped and murdered children being in prison for 10 years out in less, having three cooked meals a day, pool, sky etc, where they can sue because they're mattress is lumpy and yes it has been done, there is no justice in that especially when there are senior citizens having to do without heating etc, I do understand what your saying hun that killing someone isnt the way to go but as far as justice goes, there isnt any anymore

was supposed to write pool table there  mind you i bet thats next they'll have swwimming pools for them as a "way of keeping them healthy"

hmm to be honest I do take the press reports with a huge pinch of salt. I do agree that there should be longer sentences for those who have committed certain crimes. And I certainly agree as a socity we need to take more care of our senior citizens.

You know what buggs me about this....
Is do gooders that say it's against his human right blah blah blah
As far as I'm concerned ANYONE who does something like this I mean big crimes like mass murder and rapeing small children and stuff like that these people are not human! These are not things that civillised humans do!
They dont deserve any bodys simpathy and there is no punishment big enough to fit these crimes.
I really hate people who get all PC (not anyone on here I've heard of others on the news and stuff)

Serves him right, but I can't help feel he got off a little too lightly, could have done with public flogging :shakehead:

Or locked him in a little room full of people he's hurt over the years... :shakehead:

 pg hormones do make you evil don't they

Still think he deserved more though :shakehead:

i agree with u fingers crossed he derserved to pay for wot he had done but should have been far worse than hanging if u ask me

he wanted to be killed anyway so he could become a marter (sp?), if he had died of old age he would have been gutted!! I watched the video on bbc news and didnt really get why no one filmed him actually being hung (im not sick or anything but why not?) They had to take pictures of "his" dead body to prove it was him so why stop the camera's rolling? Theres worse things filmed and shown on the telly. :?

from another forum. i agree with this.

why waste money and resourses on keeping that nutter locked up for life?
like it was mentioned a few posts back, he didnt show any signs of remorse so living out his days would be a breeze for him, slightly boring maybe but its not like he feels wracked with guilt.

1958: He is arrested for killing his brother-in-law, a Communist, and spends six months in jail

1980: He sends forces into Iran, sparking a war which lasts for eight years

1988: He uses chemical weapons against Kurdish town of Halabja, killing an estimated 5,000

1990: Saddam invades Kuwait.

1991: He crushes a Shi'ite revolt in south and a Kurd revolt in north

1996: He orders the killing of two sons-in-law who defected to Jordan

I think torture in his case, wouldnt be a bad thing....it would be a very good thing. He has got what he wanted..but im glad he is dead, rot in hell *******!
