I didn't think I would be joining you for a couple more days, but I had my dating scan today and instead of being 12+3, I am 16+1!!!

I brought cake... I hope you like chocolate..

I couldn't believe it when the woman told us! I really got my dates completely wrong. To be honest I was scared when I found out how ahead I was. I had just got to grips with 12 weeks, 16 just sounds mad!! I am very relieved though

She reckoned its a boy, but because its so early she can't be as sure as they can be at the 20 week scan. Its far more of an estimate at this stage I think. I was convinced in my head it was a boy so I'm sticking with Team Blue regardless of whether it is a girl
