In 2004 I became a gym buff in more ways then one, i went 6 or 7 days a week  and did a bit of amateaur BB not to compete but just to see if I could add muscle by training in different ways, I learnt SO MUCH i even appeared in zest magazine... I miss it now I miss that buzz of ppl asking me how I did it... I was looking through old photos and (even if I do say so myself) i looked BLOODY GOOD lol! urm now I look not so good.

I didn't really feel figure consious because I wanted baby so bad so my mind was on that, HURRUH GOAL ACHEIVED...

However nothing is stopping me, no ttc, no pregnancy.

i have all the tools, I even have a VERY sleepy baby during the day so theres no reason why I can;t excercise at LEAST 30mins a day...

Sooo... If its ok with the mods here Im going to start a diary of Fitness and health and post... ahem, pictures of my progress...
Im not going to wait until after christmas, im going to start 1st Nov...

Anyone else willing to take the plunge with me???

I can't see a problem. However I would just say please take it easy, very light exercise at first and I guess you will have had your 6 week check so your Dr will have given you the ok.

Looking forward to reading about your progress.

God I admire your determination, especially so soon after having your little boy!

Good luck & get posting the pics ;)

Thats a brill idea Sharne, I was a gym maniac up until i got my bfp, i havent been since but im going to go and speak to them soon about doing some gentle exercise throughout my pregnancy. Also I will be very keen to get my bod back after i have bubba :D

Good luck and i will also love to read your progress! Excellent!

thats a fab idea!! I will be doing something similar after Pumpkin arrives... IM also asking DH for personal training sessions for chrimbo and for my birthday and gonna do 2 a week cos i find that really motivates me to train on the other days too. I cant WAIT to get back into shape!!
Good luck Sharne! Cant wait to see the updates...

I will be watching your progress Sharne and take it at your own pace!

I wanna do it too !!!!

Not that i was ever fit to start with mind, but if you want some company... then again i suppose that'll mean il have to weigh myself  I literally havent weighed myself since i fell pregnant, gave the Dr my intial weight 11st   and seeing as no-one sked from then on i assumed i hadnt gained TOO much
I might go looking for a fitness dvd now, didn't Davina do a pregnancy one ?

Anyways i wish you good luck !! :cheer:  :cheer:

good on u, sharne! its a co-incidence, i was very fit in 2004 as well! i used to do thai boxing, i was suprisingly good at it and i loved it! i LOVED having a high level of fitness it felt so good! i couldnt afford to go back tho now, it was £50 membership and then £15 a lesson (we used to have 2 a week!) i could do all the exercises at home for free, but im just too much of a lazy bones! i need someone to push me!

look forward to seeing ur progress im sure u'll get back to it in no time!
