Since we have found out we are getting our new home I have bugged OH again and again and again to let me buy a new sofa. He says no  I showed him a corner suite I loved.. he says no again.

Well thats it, I WANT THIS SOFA!! And I am not backing down. :shakehead: :shakehead: :shakehead:

On another note: do you lovely ladies know where I can get some pretty curtains that would go with it? :D

I know what you mean, he has no vision either. I know tonight i'll show him it and he'll think it won't go with all our other bits and bobs. He can't see that I can buy more things so it does fit in

lol, just well and truly stick to it then. and maybe you could look in an ikea for things to go with it, they normally have the same kind of colours and things :) will have to show us a piccy when you get it and its in your new living room :)

its not as if you want it just for you! it will be in the house and everyone will use it! and its not that expensive really. i say go for it if you really want it. i think its beautiful!

I was going to suggest Ikea too  Oh and while you're there treat yourself to a Princess Tart...oooh yummy! :D

aww i'm glad you lot all agree. I think it's a bargain! :cheer: it's only be 1200 with chair and footstool

Kaz what on earth is a princess tart??

It's in their food section, in the freezer...it's yummy, but you have to like marzipan! :D

SC.... What ya do is grab him by the nackers and just very gently (but firmly) twist them slightly to the left and say 'we need a new suite, what do you think?' then twist a little firmer and a little more to the left.. by this point his reply should be 'yes darling... I think we need a new suite too'... If not...well.. need I say anymore!!! :D

Priddy sofa by the way!

Poor Mr Foxxi :shakehead:

That "accent chair" is so groovey, I love it!

I think Dunelm Mill are good for curtains, they have loads of patterns to choose from and make your curtains for you.

You could go for plain red but matching ones would be class if you could get the same material somewhere??

I'd love matching curtains but not sure where I could get material. There is an interior design shop just down the road.. maybe if I showed them the picture they'd make me some up?

Simple solution...

just tell the OH "No New Sofa, No More Sex."

Should work quick enough..
