Just thought id let people know, these last two weeks for me have been so worrying, i started with brown bleeding a couple of weeks ago, i didnt know what to do so rang nhs direct and they gave me an appointment to go in and be checked. I got checked over and they felt my stomach but at only 5+ weeks they couldnt tell me much, just to watch out for pains in one side, which freaked me out even more! I bled for the next day on and off and felt like crap, expecting the worst. Everything was ok for the next few days, just felt exhausted. Then i had stomach cramps, stomach ache and more bleeding, this went on for a couple of days. I then went to the dr who made me an appointment for an early scan 2 days later.

So today i had my early scan, not knowing what to expect, at 7.2 days they picked a heartbeat up straight away! Checked everything and said everythings normal, they said theres no reason for the bleeding or the pain, some things just happen, such a relief.. They also put me forward a day, so im now due the 4th july instead of 5th, Still early days but i can stop worrying as much now. So if your having pain or bleeding get checked out straight away, it doesnt always have to be bad news!

That's great Hun I know how worrying it all is especially with bleeding! The scans are such a relief enjoy it now xx

Thats great news! Bleeding in the first trimester is one of the most terrifying things you can experience. I had a couple of small bleeds at 4 weeks and 6 weeks, then a few slight spotting episodes around 9 weeks but it was all unexplained and fine in the end.
Must be such a relief for you! Now you can sit back, relax and enjoy it xx
