My boy has had norovirus for over 2 weeks now, still suffering with terrible runs around 4 times a day.
He went off his food understandably, he's lost quite a bit of weight so im keen to try get him eating again. He will happily munch on a few organix carrot stix. But as soon as something else is put in front of him he screams.

Ive tried finger foods
Spoon feeding
letting him have the spoon (he throws it away)
Distracting him with tv and spoon feeding
feeding him with my fingers
giving him a carrot stik and then sneak in a spoon of food (works maybe twice)

I can sometimes get in a few forks of food from mine, he managed a few baked beans earlier.

Will his appitie just return to normal again?
He used to happily eat finger food with help from me and the odd spoon feed.

Hi hunni, my lo had this just before xmas, i still bf him so he was just having breastmilk.
If i was you id give him plenty of water to keep him hydrated and give him sugar/salty things to help settle his tummy down (obviously not to salty) lol..
a balance of salt n sugar help to fight the bug and calm the pain down. also have you gave him calpol? will help with the pain. Just give him what he wants, and he'll be back to normal soon.
any concerns visit the gp straight away xx
