I just wondered if any of you had reflexology during your pregnancy?

Having had reflexology for many years prior to becoming pregnant, I have now found a local therapist that specialises in pregnancy reflexology which Im thrilled about and having my first treatment this evening.

I have read that women who have reflexology throughout their pregnancy are likely to have a shorter labour than those who dont, which cant be a bad thing :D

For those of you that did have treatments, did you find it helped you in anyway during your pregnancy or labour?

Many Thanks

My MW talked about it but tbh its not for me.

I took raspberry leaf tea which a) also makes for a shorter second stage of labour and b) is loads cheaper

Sorry I'm not much help. I know many people like reflexology and find it helps but I think you have to actually believe in it all for it to benefit. I've never been one for that sort of thing though I have tried it in the past. Along with relaxation techniques and a few other therapies.
