Found it so easy with my lb, his name (Joel) clicked in an Instant and OH and I both agreed immediately. It's a different ball game with number 2!?

I had tonnes of names for girls but few for boys. And the ones I really like OH is dead against. The only one so far we agree on is Jacob/Jakob but I'm not in love with it and also worry it's quite common these days? Any other suggestions please? Doesn't have to be a J but can't be a C. Xx

Same here Candy! Although we are expecting our first, we can not agree or mutually fall in love with a boys name.

What about Jay? Or Jake?
We dont know what we are having but we can fully agree on and love a girls name.
I dont know why but I have a feeling its a boy.
I really loved the name Jaxon or Jax but DH thinks its too American, then a good friend of mine recently had a baby boy called Jack and wouldn't feel I could call him that now anyway. Do you like Jax or Jaxon as options?
I like the name Sol the most (I got my BFP on the summer solstice and it seems apt!)and DH likes Maverick - which although I dont dislike the name, I dont exactly love it either.

I'm in the exact same boat with boys names and due tomorrow. Uh oh! We can't have a J or an M name but we can't agree on any right now.

Girls names we have a perfect one. Always the way huh?

I really liked Jude but couldn't persuade my oh! I found boys names really hard too, other names I considered were Joshua, Sonny, Dylan and Alex. I really wanted Alex but my friend has a little boy with that name so I didn't feel 100% comfortable using it x

I like Alex too! But OH doesn't, of course! Same with Jude - but oh doesn't like it because of Beatles association, sigh. Love andpeace I quite like Jax but my nephew is jack so probably a bit too similar! So hard to find one that clicks instantly. However... watching tv last night there was a boy called Jonah which we are both warming to which is a miracle! Also I like Elijah? x

Jasper? Jordan? James? Jason?

Names I like: Samuel, Adam

Good luck xx

We have a Jake. Oliver and Max were also on our shortlist last time. This time round Freddie and Oscar are our choices but I also like William and Samuel. All very popular names in England I think but we live in Scotland where these names aren't very common! My husband really likes Otis but I'm not keen...
