ello girlies! as i am aproching my maternity leave and shopping! hehe i been looking at getting a bouncy chair! only thing is... there are soooooo blooming many of them.
what one do you have, or could recomend getting £0-50 mark ????

We got one (although I personally don't like them and would rather not put a newborn or small baby in one, prefer waiting till bit bigger) and LO hates it. Screams the house down every time we try to put him in it.

We spent about £30 on a vibrating one. Total waste of money. Given up now with it.

Hi

We bought this one and he loved it, i liked this one as you can recline it so its flat, and it cradles them nicely. Then as they get bigger you can sit it up more and they can look around. Never used the vibrate stuff tho apparantly that kind of thing is too stimulating for newborns. They are handy to put baby in when you are doing jobs in differnet rooms they can watch you, and when you need to eat etc..

Got the cheapest one there was from Boots, think it was about 10£. Doesn't vibrate, play music or anything like that and it was good for about 8 weeks old upwards until she was almost sitting alone.

I wouldn't spend loads on one because you only need them for a short time but they are great for putting them in when you want to do some things around the house and LO can watch.

We got this one last week:

I'm gutted that it's £10 cheaper now!

It is more reclined than most other ones so more supportive for her. There is a curved mirror on the underside of the mobile and she loves to look herself and chatter :D She doesn't seem to care whether the mobile is going round or the music is playing but she loves the vibrating - it often sends her to sleep  It bounces really easily too. The only downside is that I hate the colours but she loves it and OH and I can finally eat a meal together :cheer:

we've got the fisher price kick and play bouncer. it says from birth but I don't think it should be as it's too upright. Logan can only just sit in it comfortably. At first we had to put books under the front of it so it was more reclined.

He does love it though, the only time he's happy not being held is when he's in this with the vibration on, its a godsend when I want a shower.
He's not shown much interest in the toy bar yet but he'll probably get into that when he's a bit older.

I think it will last longer than some of the other chairs out there, so in short not good for a newborn but a good buy for the long term

we've got the fisher price kick and play bouncer too. connor's been in it from birth and still loves it now. the vibration is great when he's being grizzly. think its like all these things though - some babies will love it, others will hate it...

Fisher price kick and play bouncer gets my vote. It's been the best present we were given for Asher by far!

He went in it from birth with no problems. Loves the vibrations. WOuld always calm him if he was upset when little.

I still strap him in it now when I'm having a shower. We've used it sooooo much.

Highly recommended.

I can't recommend any as Angel has 2, sat in 1 and she just cries! The other still has the tag on!

wouldnt be without it , reclines well , proper comfy and comes in doff colours but we love it :cheer:

I had the same one as this for Libby, and we got loads of use out of it.......I loved that it reclined and was really well padded at the sides.

:D

We bought a Mamas and Papas one which didn't really bounce :?

Complete waste of money from our perspective, we barely used it.

If I were you I would try and get a second hand one that's in good condition of course.

we got a hauck deluxe one.hate the winnie the pooh design but love the chair as it reclines flat and is suitable from birth.now cally is too big for her moses she naps in her chair instead.
