Me and my DH are currently trying to decide whether to go ahead with a private scan, as we are both feeling pretty nervous about my previous m/c. Have booked one provisionally when I'll be 9+4 by my LMP date but only 8+6 by my ov date as we've read that once a heartbeat is heard after 8 weeks, the chances of a successful pregnancy are pretty good (over 85%).
Intending to talk it over with m/w at our booking appt next Tuesday but just wondering if any of you ladies had a scan and did it help or were you left still feeling anxious? Do you think we'd be better off saving our money, as we don't have a great deal ATM?
