Reassurance scan

Hiya I'm 6 weeks today just got a letter from my mid wife to say I won't get my first scan until I'm 13 weeks that's the first week in October feels like a lifetime away I'm going home in a couple of weeks time and really wanted to tell my parents but would have liked to have some definitive proof that I was pregnant before I get there hopes up.

It's weird you do a pregnancy test find out your pregnant and then that's it still coming to terms with the fact that for 3 months you get no hard evidence that your pregnant. My sister had a miscarriage and I think that's why I am so worried about making sure there's something in there.

Has anyone else been for a reassurance scan do you think it's worth it x

Hi hun, i am 7 week tomorrow and my '12' week scan is 10th october, what a joke?? i had a scan monday due to pains and got another tomorrow due to bleeding. I dont think id be able to wait till october but its your choice, it will put yur mind at ease and like you say at least u can take a pic to show ur parents xx

10th of october that's ridiculous think I'm gonna look into how much it costs would be good ti relax and not think the worst. Good luck with your scan babes I read your post and it does seem normal to have bleeding but it must be an awful feeling you just want everything to go right and everything will be fine just got to try and stay positive. Just think you'll get to see ur little baby again when they do the scan.
