Really sorry... ***UPDATE***

No, this is pretty shocking. Any idea where she got them?? I don't think it's even possible to buy a secondhand toothbrush!

I was thinking the same! Never realised places sold second hand make up!!

Hmm. Second hand sounds wrong on a lot of levels. Ideally that's a 'sorry I can't use that, my midwife say it was unhygienic'. Or keep throwing it out, it you don't think that would go down well.

Is there a way to pick things out that might be ok and say 'oh that's a great but I already have one/enough of that' and ask her to keep it at her house? Then 'if you need it' you will ask her for it.

Other than that, good luck...??

No idea where she got them. I can only hope that she just took stuff out of her bathroom rather than actually buying second hand stuff.

Not sure I'd be able to say too much to her because she'd just get upset but by the sounds of things she thing my baby is going to come out at around 5-6lb which I think is ridiculous. I know it could be the case, but I'm absolutely huge and his tummy and head were measuring large at my growth scan so I reckon I'm looking at more 9-10lb! It means the clothes she's got baby will be absolutely useless anyway. So I could just accept those and then when he arrives just say "thanks but they don't actually fit him" or something like that!!
