ok so Im only a bit over but getting anxious as I had a c section last time and they dont like you to go over too much. Have consultants appointment tomorrow and am going to see if they will induce even though Ive been told if youve had a previous c section they dont induce?? Any ideas?

AND my work re maternity pay....Im not eligible which is fine as I started working there and didnt realise I was pregnant so only receive Statutory Maternity from government which is fine BUT my employer keeps telling me different things about when and where the forms are going to be sent and nobody has done a thing aboutit considering I told them when I was 12 weeks pregnant and I am no over my due date and not getting paid anything at all AND I have to either go and sort this out heavily pregnant or wait til I have LO and do this with baby and toddler in tow!!! piggin p'd off and stressed out

ah bless you honey x x

is there anyone at work who you can contact direct by phone to sort it, or write an email telling them you want it sorted asap, at least youll have it in writing x x x

Hey hun sorry I cant really help with the first part but I couldnt claim SMP either so you need to fill out the form MA1 and they will need the form SMP1 from your employer (this states that your employer cannot pay you SMP and why), at least four weeks worth of wage slips from your trial period and also form MATB1 which you should already have from your MW. In the form you can put when you started maternity leave and the payments will be backdated. I dont know if the rules are any different (I live in Northern Ireland) but I cant imagine they would be. My employer took the absolute piss sending me the SMP1 form (its not like its a complicated form either lol) and I left for maternity on the 19th sept! But when they did finally send it to me the benefits office were brilliant and I had all my backpayments within 10 days of sending them the form! Hope this has helped. xx

Sorry your feeling peed off hun, but u do have good reason! I was lucky that work sorted all my pay out relatively smoothly.....is there anyway someone can take this on for u? It's not an ideal time to be stressing about it!

I'm not sure about c-section and induction.....I guess if your pregnancy has been straight forward this time they may favour it so that LO isn't too big?? Also u will be monitored more closely with induction anyway wouldn't u? Def talk it thru with consultant tomorrow! Try and chill out if u can 2nite.......I know that's not easy to do! Hope it all gets sorted asap xxx

basically the HR team have told me different things, my MATB1 form was sent off ages ago (allegedly) by my manager and went missing then he resent it again. Then I was told that the SMP1 form would be sent to me at work, then at home, then at work, then before I finished work, then after I finished work, then that it could have been lost in the post, that they didnt know I needed an SMP1 form....and so the saga continues. Got through to payroll lady today and cried and said it was totally unfair for them to be putting me through this....shes posting it to my home today.

Im measuring bang on target so theyre not overly concerned. Went to MW today again as reduced fetal movement to be told that this was perfectly normaly considering the placenta was at the front so would obviously mask any movements...that its always been at the front....So I said "why the bloody hell didnt anyone tell me that in the first place then I wouldnt keep coming and going and getting worried" this was all after being left for half an hour in teh waiting room not knowing whether they had forgotten me or not, then taking 20 mins to write up my notes stating that all is ok with baby and BP!!! For god sake Im dealing with a bunch of effing morans at the moment grrrrrrrr :slap:

and the cats getting on my tits too ha ha :rotfl:

Good for you ringing them up hun, I didnt know this but its actually illegal for them not to send you an SMP1 if you're entitled to it (which you are) and if you were to file a formal complaint the company can be sued for not sending it to you. I told my head office this and voila in the post the very next day after me chasing them for 3 months!! So if its not with you today, threaten them with that cuz its way out of order!!

My cats are getting on my nerves too btw little shites lol xx
