Well good news that Scandicmum85 & abbiecourt things seem to be starting to happen good luck and keep us posted:dance: xxx

Its made me realise OMG anyone can be next lol!!!

I know im not as far gone but am definatly taking some time today packing a hospital bag and baby changing bag:shock:. Its made me realise if anything did start to happen i'm not prepared is everyone else like if it just all of a sudden started to happen? xxxx

For me, I think next week things are either gonna chill me out or get me in a flap. as Ive been told if still measuring small for dates for MW tues = growth scan = induced!!
Whereas if baby bump has a growth spurt i may be left full term
It just really worries me when things are up in the air  xx

Everyone feel prepared? xxx

I'm kinda prepared, bag is packed etc but its silly things like I've not had chance to fill my freezer with precooked meals, or get all my housework finished, I have a huge pile of ironing etc, esp as I am stuck to the sofa at the mo, feel like I'm running out of time and its panicking me!!

I know I managed to start gradually stocking up on heavier food items on my last few food shops, and things for the cats like cat litter, lots of cat food and nappies, milk,-- for the baby of course, so i dont feel pressured to have to go shopping or nip out to the shops if im not up to it. Have got absoloutely everything for baby apart from a moses basket stand going to ordre that online next week, Its just everything is everywhere not really packed or together.

Did they say you could take anything for pain? I can see why it would panic you so much to do and you need to rest when you feel like that xxx

I'm so not prepared!!! I haven't even bought a bag to use as my hospital bag yet! I have a bag that would be perfect, but it was really expensive, so I don't want to use it for the birth. Just going to buy a big gym bag I think.

Today my task is to write down exactly what I want to buy to put in it. I have some bits, but haven't bought any travel sized toiletries or anything! I'm really panicking, but my OH is still away for another week or so, and I need him to drive me about because I can't drive!

Everyone else seems to be so well prepared! I have everything I need for when LO is here, just nothing for actually getting him here!!! xx

lol! same as me im using a gym bag like a holdall type thing for my stuff then babas changing bag for there things needed in hospital. Just scares me i think omg if it happens and someone neeeds to pop home to get my stuff they would never find it all lol!

I just feel im on overload, still trying to sort through my things in general to throw away as much as i can to make room for new arrival, and trying to chill and trying to get organised and this is the time i miss a glass of wine that would heelp me lol! xxx

Yeah a holdall type thing is what I'm after, I'll go to a sports shop and get one. As soon as OH gets back we'll buy everything then the bag will be waiting next to the front door! I need OH to help pack it so he knows where things are. Might just get him to pack it, he doesn't have normal logic, so if we did it together it would be a nightmare!

I'm glad I was forced to have a clearout! We only moved into this house less than two months ago, and a few weeks before that I had moved out of my uni house. So over the two moves I gradually slimlined what I had! My OH is always offshore, so he doesn't have much junk, just clothes. SO we have a lot of space for LO even though we're renting a small two bed house!

A glass of wine would help so much! Can't wait to have a nice cold glass of rose!!! Since I found out I was pg, I've only had a glass of champagne to celebrate the end of my degree and a shandy as a treat after a hard day of assembling all our furniture and unpacking all our boxes! So a glass of wine is long overdue! xx

Had folk round last night buying things off us, they had a 6 week old girl who had come 5 weeks early. That freaked me out a bit as thats like me having my baby today, aaargh!! Went to shops this morning to get something to wear, can't find any nightshirts with buttons for feeding. Going to pack bag this afternoon, not sure I have all I need though. Just now trying to deforest down there but its a bit tricky when you can't see anything, haha xx

It's scary isn't it to think that plenty of people have their babies at our stage! I'm not too worried, I'm pretty much convinced I'm going to have him a bit early, I just want my hospital bag done then I can relax!

Haha, it's a nightmare, can't even use a mirror! I'm booked in for a bikini wax on wednesday though, I'm fed up of it! Once on wednesday then another time before my due date! Treating myself to a wax, manicure, pedicure and hair cut, think it's the least I deserve! xx

Omg that would hit reality with me too!! lol i hadnt even thought of downstairs imagine all the ladies that get caught out in labour before their wax appointment lmao aww i think i will take the attitude of oh well they must of seen worse  xxx

sounds like your OH is a big help :)

He has his moments, when he's home he literally does everything for me! He won't even let me reach up to get a plate off the top shelf because in his words "stretching is one of the worst things you can do right now!" Bless him! Won't let me do the housework, washing up, move anything heavy...

So it's a massive adjustment when he goes away! Even though I'm capable of doing a lot of the things he normally does (obviously while dealing with the pain)! I just want him to come home now. Not long though!

Yeah I bet the MWs have seen a lot worse downstairs areas! I just worry about when I'm in the birthing pool, cos it's all just going to be out there for all to see hahaha! So it needs to look tidy!

xx

aww very supportive!

oh my god yeah you will be on show! my friend was telling me when she was giving birth she was on all fours one minute lol and she describes ''exorcist scenes the next'' lol she said she was naked and had docs, nurses, midwives and even bounty women and a cleaner coming in and out lmfao!! xxx
