Rash

Have the most painful rash on the inside of my thighs, sort of along my bikini line (havent shaved for a few weeks as it has been a bit sore) The rash is now developed into sort of horrid yellow spots, and today there is more of a rash which is so sore it hurts when my knicker elastic rubs

Sorry if this is tmi Has anyone else had/got this?

Put sudocream on, but doesnt seem to be helping

No, not got anything like that Zoe, have no idea what it could be. Maybe see your doctor if it's causing you pain though hun.

I get this sort of thing a lot *sigh*. Sounds like it could be sweat related, and possibly a yeast rash - the infamous "dhobi rash" lol. I treat it with anti-fungal foot powder which can work a treat. It sounds like it's got infected (hence yellow pus filled spots) so you might need something a little stronger. Drs can prescribe mild steroidal cream to reduce the inflamation which has also has something in it to fight the infections (fungal and bacterial). I'm not sure what is safe during pregnancy though, hence I am off to the docs today... Tea tree oil can sometimes work on this sort of thing, but I've read differing accounts as to it's safety during pregnancy. Prob best to go to your drs.

Just back from my drs, where I saw a brilliant locum! He's prescribed me canesten and fucidin, which are both fine for pregnancy. He used to be a gynae before he gave up due to the hours, so I feel like I got great advice. Good luck!

im guessing its kind of like thrush then? hence the canesten....I hatttteeeee thrush, i used to get it loads but not got it once sicne been pg *touchwood*

Thanks gals, Gingerpie that great advice, I shall ring docs Monday, tried wearing boxer style shorts so the elastic isnt rubbing, so its not so painful today, but looks HORRID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes, its under my pits now, it must be a shaving thing I think!!??
I cant shave under my arms, and I HATE hairy pits!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I feel like a right minger!!! I get undressed in the dark so OH cant see how horrid I look with all my rashes

Sounds like folliculitis to me, I have had it on my legs its basically a bad case of ingrowing hairs, you made need anti-biotics and/or a topical cream from your GP.

NO SHAVING you will have to leave it until it heals or it will just get worse!
