Is it worth taking them after birth? I read somewhere that they help the uterus contract back down to size

I'm gonna run outta tablets on saturday so i need to decide whether its worth buying a new bottle and using them after the birth as well or if i should just leave it as she should turn up very soon

if you are planning on BF, thats helps womb contract back down I believe. I think mine just did it itself with my son.

They are meant to do that, but only the short term after delivery. Its not like you need to take them for a few weeks IIRC.

I stopped taking them a few days after birth.

You could always drink the tea instead if you have some t bags left over.

Hmmm i dont know what to do, theres no point buying a 100 tablet thing when i'll probably only need a weeks worth.

I dont have any tea bags left either, i used them all before i started on the tablets.

I just wonder if the affect wear off? It could be 2 weeks after i run out before she's born

Want me to post you my left over t bags? I have one entire pack unopened and one pack with only about 10 used so still mostly full.
